Networking with a View!
Soaring into the skyline of historic St. John’s, The Rooms combines twenty-first century technology with a striking visual reference to Newfoundland and Labrador’s past. Its unique design mirrors the “fishing rooms” where families came together to process their catch. These new “rooms” are also places to gather. In them, you’ll find collections, exhibits and programs that tell the local stories and interpret the natural world through art, artifacts, archaeology, architecture and archival records. The Rooms unites the Provincial Museum, the Provincial Art Gallery and the Provincial Archives under one roof.
The evening will feature live local music, access to explore the many levels and viewing decks and scrumptious food stations.
For those who want to make this evening a quieter meet and greet, a special networking area has been designated.

Kick Back and Party Newfoundland Style!
Join all your old friends and new colleagues for a good-bye party like no other.
In their minds' eye, most Newfoundlanders can see the ‘kitchen party.’ Drinkers and carousers crowd around a woodstove or step dance across the floor, while a few musicians sit in the corner trading songs and tunes. The kitchen party has been enshrined as an iconic image of the Newfoundland lifestyle.
A three-course dinner will be served while you enjoy live entertainment in one of St. John’s largest ‘kitchen party’ themed rooms. Network in the quieter foyer or dance the night away between courses and after the meal. Remember to dress casual and come prepared to dance!
